Anika Surendran who started her career as a child artiste in Malayalam films made her foray into Tamil cinema with 'Yennnai Arindhaal' in the year 2015. She played the daughter of Ajith in the Gautham Menon directed flick. The chemistry between the duo was so impeccable that Ajith and Anikha once again reunited as father and daughter in the blockbuster 'Viswasam' directed by Siruthai Siva released in 2019. Fans started fondly calling her Kutty Nayan due to her resemblance to Nayanthara and playing her younger version in 'Naanum Rowdy Dhaan'.

Anikha who is now 18 years old is currently playing the female lead in many films in Malayalam, Telugu and Tamil. The trailer of her first film as heroine 'Oh My Darling' has been released.and fans are expressing their shock since it contains intimate scenes including liplocks.
