Actress Akanskha Mohan who debuted as heroine in the Tamil movie ‘9 Thirudargal’ has also acted in a few Hindi films and was into modelling. Earlier today (September 30th) her body was found in a hotel room in Versova in Mumbai.
Reports suggest that the 30 year old actress checked into the hotel at 8pm on Wednesday and stayed for a couple of days. The police were alerted by the management after she did not come out of her room and did not respond when the staff knocked on the door after several hours. During the investigation a suicide note was found in which Akanksha wrote “‘I am sorry. No one is responsible for this. I am not happy. I just need peace”.
It has come to light that a new Hindi movie ‘Siya’ that had Akanksha Mohan in a major role was released just fifteen days back. It is said that she lived alone in the Yamuna Nagar Society in Lokhandwala area of the city and took the extreme step due to depression.
