Legendary actor Vivek passed away in the early hours of April 17th leaving the entire Tamil film industry and crores of Tamil people across the globe in a deep state of shock and sorrow. According to doctors, the actor had a 100% blockage in the LAD (left anterior descending artery) vessel which led to the massive cardiac arrest a day earlier.
Vivek’s body was cremated on the same day evening at the Virugambakkam crematorium with fans and celebrities turning out in huge numbers to pay their last respects. Now his mortal have reached his ancestral village Perungotoor near Madurai.
Vivek’s close family members and relatives in Perungotoor conducted pooja over his ashes and then buried it in the local burial ground and then planted saplings at the spot. Since Vivek has planted over 33 lakhs saplings in his lifetime his relatives feel that the ones on his memorial would contain his breath in them. This effort by Vivek’s family members is highly laudable and most appropriate as well.
