Filmmaking tricks to be used to continue late actor Vivek’s character in new movie

Legendary comedy actor Vivek left fans in deep shock and grief when he passed away suddenly due to a massive cardiac arrest on 17th April 2021. At the time he was part of several movies under production including Kamal Haasan’s ‘Indian 2’ directed by Shankar.

Another film in which Vivek was acting in a major supporting role is the untitled one starring Legend Saravana and directed by JD Jerry.  According to sources the late actor played the role of the hero’s friend and the screenplay required him to feature in almost all the scenes.

The shooting of the Legend Saravana film which also stars Urvashi Rautela and Prabhu has resumed now and the team has found an ingenious way to manage to continue Vivek’s character in the film.  Accordingly, a lookalike of the actor has been selected and using trick shots the scenes are being canned.  Later computer graphics will be used to add finesse to the shots.

Vivek will appear next in Vijay Sethupathi’s ‘Yaadhum Oore Yavarum Kelir’ and Sundar C’s ‘Aranmanai 3’ which he completed before his untimely demise.
