On the request of the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin, many top Kollywood celebrities including Rajinikanth, Ajith, Suriya, Karthi, Aishwarya Rajesh, Sivakarthikeyan, Nayanthara and Vikram have donated to his relief fund to combat the COVID 19-second wave.
On Thursday, Soori one of the topmost comedy actors in Tamil cinema met actor and Triplicane MLA Udhayanidhi Stalin and handed over a cheque for rupees ten lakhs towards the CM fund. He also contributed in cash a sum of rupees twenty-five thousand on behalf of his son Sharvan and daughter Vennila.
This year is a milestone for Soori in his career as he has almost completed ‘Viduthalai’ his first film as hero directed by Vettrimaran and produced by Elred Kumar. The film has Bhavane Sre, Gautham Vasudev Menon and Vijay Sethupathi in other important characters and is one of the most anticipated upcoming films.
