Shah Rukh Khan, renowned as the King of Bollywood, was hurried to the hospital on Wednesday after experiencing a heat stroke in Ahmedabad. The actor, who owns the Kolkata Knight Riders franchise in the IPL, had travelled to Ahmedabad to watch the Indian Premier League (IPL) match between Kolkata Knight Riders and Sunrisers Hyderabad on Tuesday.

News reports indicate that Shah Rukh Khan was dealing with dehydration amidst the soaring temperature of 45 degrees Celsius in Ahmedabad. He was admitted to KD Hospital after suffering a heat stroke. His condition is currently stable, and an official statement from the hospital is anticipated soon. Security at the hospital has been intensified.

On the professional front, Shah Rukh Khan is joining forces with director Sujoy Ghosh for an ambitious action film titled 'King'. This exciting project will also star his daughter, Suhana Khan, in a key role, with music composed by the acclaimed Anirudh Ravichander. Produced by Red Chillies Entertainment, filming is slated to begin shortly.
