Veteran actor Prabhu the younger son of the immortal legend Sivaji Ganesan created his own unique niche in Tamil cinema during the eighties and nineties acting in more than a hundred films as the hero. In the new millennium, as he aged gracefully, he switched on to character roles and still enjoys the same popularity that he had in his heyday.

Prabhu is acting in several movies in important roles in all South Indian languages and is also a part of the mega multistarrer 'Ponniyin Selvan' directed by Mani Ratnam. Rahman his costar in the film has shared a photo of Prabhu which has stunned fans due to his slimmed-down look. Prabhu has always had a plumpy look even when he was romancing on-screen and for the first time, fans are getting to see him in a different avatar.
