Real estate magnate owes our family Rs 10 Cr: Senior Naresh

Senior actor Naresh has revealed that Srinivas Lingam, the promoter of a couple of infra companies, had borrowed Rs 7.5 Cr more than six years ago from Raghunath, the brother of Naresh’s mother. He has not returned the principal and interest amount to date, the ‘Jathi Ratnalu’ actor alleged.

“Srinivas Lingam borrowed the huge sum as a hand loan by leveraging contacts with our family. Raghunath garu, my uncle, knew him as a business partner and therefore gave the amount. Since then, Srinivas has troubled us incessantly by not honouring the debt. Together with interest, the amount he owes us is Rs 10 Cr. We lodged a complaint to the Central Crime Branch Police of Telangana. I thank the police for promptly responding to my complaint,” Naresh said in a video statement. 

Naresh added that, due to the pandemic, they are hard-pressed for money.
