Mahesh Anand, a famous Bollywood actor who played negative roles in 1980s and 1990s, is no more. He died on Saturday at his residence in Mumbai. He was just 57.
As per reports, the cause of his death is yet to be ascertained. He was a loner and lived a lonely life. The actor, who did popular movies such as ‘Vishwatma’ and ‘Vijeta’, was literally broke for many years. After his career lost momentum, Mahesh had no money.
He did ‘Rangeela Raja’, which released in January. It was his first release after a long gap. In an emotional post on Facebook, the actor wrote recently that he feels fortunate to get work once again at a time when he had no money and no relatives.
After the news of his death became public, his wife told a portal that she never talked to her husband since 2002.
