Prabhas’s uncle and mentor actor Krishnamraju passes away

Actor Prabhas’ uncle and famous actor Rebel Krishnam Raju has passed away. He was 82 years old and was suffering from age-related ailments.  His loss has come as a shock to the Prabhas household who are in great grief. 

Krishnamraju has acted in more than 183 movies in Tollywood. Apart from that, he was actively involved in politics as a Member of Parliament and a Union Minister. It is noteworthy that he was recommended twice to be appointed as the Governor of Tamil Nadu.

Superstar Prabhas is Krishnamraju’s brother’s son and the late actor was a great influence to him and also mentored him.  Krishnamraju has also produced several films including those starring Prabhas and was currently planning to bankroll ‘Prabhas 21’.  Tributes are pouring in from top Telugu and Indian film industry fraternities.
