Young actor Kathir has earned a name for himself as a versatile actor who has touched his peak with the critically acclaimed hit 'Pariyerum Perumal'. Last year he also appeared in an important role in Thalapthy Vijay's 'Bigil' directed by Atlee which he said was a dream come true.

Kathir has now revealed that his dad too has acted with Thalapathy Vijay in 'Master' directed by Lokesh Kanagarj with Vijay Sethupathi as the villain. He has shared on social media with pics of his mom and dad "The journey of these 2 has always been an inspiration.Their passion & dream is the reason for what I’m today(And I call these souls Appa & Amma)After 53 years,his dream to act has come true bcoz of our #Master Though it's a very small portion,it has fulfilled his lifelong dream!".

Kathir's upcoming movie is 'Sarbath' directed by newcomer Prabhakaran and produced by Seven Screen Studios with Soori also in an important role.
