Karunas to resign his post

Actor Karunas has won the Assembly election, he contested for the first time under the AIADMK party ticket in May and He is presently the MLA of Thirvadanai constituency of Tamil Nadu. He is also the Vice President of the Nadigar Sangam and has been actively involved in the election campaign last year and the various activities undertaken by the newly elected administration team for the welfare of the Sangam's members.

Now Karunas has revealed that he may soon quit his Vice President post in the Nadigar Sangam as he has become an MLA and he will have to dedicate his full focus for the development of his constituency from where people have reposed faith in him and elected him as their representative in the prestigious Tamil Nadu Assembly.

Karunas who came from humble backgrounds made it big in Kollywood as a playback singer, and a comedian who eventually became a good supporting actor. He is still busily acting in films.

He has completed acting in 'Kodi' with Dhanush and 'Dhillukku Dhuttu' with Santhanam. He has also signed up for a supporting role in director Vetrimaran's ambitious project 'Vada Chennai' which has Dhanush in lead role.
