In a recent interview, actor Jayam Ravi revealed some interesting information about his collaboration with director M. Rajesh and their next movie, "Brother." Directed by M. Rajesh, "Brother" has finished its shooting and is under post-production.
Speaking on the genre of the movie, Ravi added, "Mostly, director M. Rajesh's films have evolved around family-centric themes with a touch of comedy. But a misconception has come up that his works are pure comedy."
Explaining the development of this partnership, Ravi said, "Whereas his previous films predominantly dealt with family-themed storylines laced with humor, 'Brother' brings out the Rajesh stamp with full force. What lured me into the script was the fact that it reminded me of his earlier works and not my past action-centric roles."
Talking about what the film defines, Ravi said, "In 'Brother,' Rajesh has intertwined the dynamics of a family very well with humor, thus serving as a full meal for the audience. Though it has elements of comedy, the film still stands with its legs of dance and family values."
Jayam Ravi was visibly excited to have landed the part in "Brother," explaining that the film was a chance to bring something fresh to the current trend of comedy and touching elements in movies that he's previously been a part of.
