The shooting of Thala Ajith's 57th film 'AK 57' is well into its second schedule. After completing the first schedule in European nations. director Siva has started canning the second schedule in Hyderabad since last week.

However the makers are yet to zero in or officially announce who will play the lead villain in this international spy thriller.

As secrecy always leads to rumors now we hear some interesting insider rumor about who would play the villain in this grand third time combo of Ajith and Siva after the super hit 'Veeram' and blockbuster 'Vedalam'.

Unconfirmed sources suggest that 'AK 57' has a stylish heroic villain character akin to the one played by Arjun in 'Mankatha'. Hence the makers prefer a Bollywood star for this character which will also be helpful to market the film in Hindi speaking states.

The source also adds that the makers are planning to approach Bollywood hero Abhishek Bachchan for this role. Abhi is popular among Tamil audience through the Mani Ratnam directorial 'Guru' and also because he is the husband offormer Miss World Aishwarya Rai who commands a special affection among Tamils.

We will have to wait for the makers to officially confirm things to know whether the plan to approach the Junior Bachchan is true or just a plain rumor. However it will be a fantabulous combination to see Ajith and Abhi fighting with each other as both of them are agelessly charming.

'AK 57' is being produced by Sathya Jyothi Films banner on a grand scale. Ajith plays an Interpol officer in this film while Kajal Aggarwal plays the female lead. Anirudh Ravichander is rendering the musical score for this film.
