Bollywood actor Abhishek Bachchan was admitted to the Nanavati hospital in Mumbai on July 11 along with his father Amitabh Bachchan after both of them tested positive for the novel coronavirus. Aishwarya Rai and their daughter Aaradhya tested positive for COVID-19 as well, and the two of them recently recovered completely and returned home.

Abhishek Bachchan has constantly been the subject of ridicule on social media, where users would constantly criticize the actor for being in the limelight due to his father's influence. Abhishek has gracefully handled the trolls until now and his witty responses have always been appreciated by people. However, in situations such as this one, a little empathy is expected of people as practically every single person is on the same boat. A troll mercilessly questioned Abhishek how he will 'sit and eat from his father's wealth' now as Amitabh is hospitalized. In a very composed and polite manner, Abhishek replied, "I pray that you are never in a situation like ours and that you remain safe and healthy. Thank you for your wishes, ma'am." Social media users have commended Abhishek for his classy response.

A similar incident happened a couple of years ago when a user trolled Abhishek for living with his parents. The actor's comment went viral. "Yes! And it's the proudest moment for me to be able to be there for them, as they have for me. Try it sometime, you might feel better about yourself," Abhishek's reply read.
