Remembering his iconic entertainer 'Amar Akbar Anthony', Amitabh Bachchan on Wednesday said that, if inflation-adjusted collections of the Hindi film is considered, it was a bigger hit than even 'Baahubali-The Conclusion'.
"43 YEARS..!!!.. 'Amar Akbar Anthony' is estimated to have made Rs 7.25 crore in those days. Inflation-adjusted, it crosses the collections of Bahubali 2—The Conclusion today!" the legendary Big B wrote on Twitter.
Fortunately, no unsavoury fan wars have been started over Amitabh's palpably rational claim. The Rajamouli-Prabhas magnum opus, released in 2017, was a monster hit. It's definitely Tollywood's pride, given that 'AAA' was a straight Hindi film, while 'Baahubali-2' was a dubbed one.
