Is this the reason Ajith is not in the list of Forbes celebrity 100, 2018?

Forbes celebrity 100 featured the top hundred richest Indian celebrities, with Salman Khan topping the list the third consecutive time. Deepika Padukone, at position 4, is the only female celebrity to have made it to the top 5 since the listing was launched in 2012.

A total of 15 celebrities from the south Indian film industry made it to the list, with Kollywood contributing eight actors. Nayanthara is the only female actor to make it to the list from the south.

Rajinikanth (position 14, Rs 50 crore), Vijay (position 26, Rs 30.33 crore), Vikram (position 29, Rs 26 crore), Suriya (position 34, Rs 23.67 crore), Vijay Sethupathi (position 34, Rs 23.67 crore), Dhanush (position 53, Rs 17.25 crore), Nayanthara (position 69, Rs 15.17 crore), and Kamal Haasan (position 71, Rs 14.2 crore) are the Tamil actors who landed in the list.

The ranking period ran between October 1, 2017, and September 30, 2018. Since Ajith hasn’t had a movie release during this period, he probably wasn’t listed.
