‘2 Memiddaram’ trailer released

'2 Memiddaram', an official remake of the South Korean movie 'Parallel Life', is from the stable of AK Entertainments.

The film's trailer presents the cases of Abraham Lincoln and JF Kennedy, the two American Presidents who had many parallels going for them.  They both were sworn in as Presidents on the same date in 1870 and 1970.  The names of their wives were the same.  Their kids died during their White House stint.  And they both were killed by assassins with the same name.

With this intro, the trailer creates enthusiasm in a mysterious parallelism.  In the film, two lover boys end up having parallel lives.  They both fall in love with girls who have the same name.  They both propose on the same date.  So on and so forth.  The terrifying thing is that the person who existed decades ago happened to kill his lover.  What about the guy, who is in full knowledge of how much his life bears resemblance to the other person?  That's the suspense.

The premise does remind one of 'Okka Kshanam'.
