About 100 from Hyderabad's Neredmet were on Saturday quarantined after a resident of Madhura Nagar there tested positive for COVID-19.
As per media reports, the individual has been hospitalized. Three of his family members are showing symptoms. About 40 of his close contacts from the area are undergoing tests.
The shocker is that the person had three days ago participated in a food distribution endeavour in his locality. "Not only did he directly help out scores of people at the Anna Danam program, but police from the local station also made it to the event," a report says.
It's now going to be a headache for authorities to do contact-tracing.
