Zoya Akhtar's gem - Ridhima Sud, who essayed the role of Noorie in her debut 'Dil Dhadakne Do', will be seen a totally opposite avtar than that of the hottie-toity brat that she played early. The film is a much talked about international project by Madhureeta Anand.
Ridhima will be seen a power packed docu drama 'Kajarya', which is about a strong subject of female foeticide and the cruel system that still exist in the interiors of India. Much as the film's strong subject Ridhima will be seen playing a strong role that of a journalist who is investigating the gruesome activities going on in the village. Here she will be seen as a strong - woman of substance who is determined to crack the case.
Audiences will be thrown off their chair when they will see the otherwise soft spoken Sud throwing abuses on screen. One would have imagine Ridhima to do a rom-com or a chic flick as her second movie however the young actress dared to step into the shoes of Meera (character name).
'Kajarya' will surely show the talent house that Ridhima Sud is filled with. It's quite commendable for an actor to choose a gritty role like this one in her second movie itself. Kudos to the actress who have dared to do something different!
