Zoya Akhtar is all set with her new film, "The Archies," and she has now broken silence over a movie that airs on Netflix on the long-standing nepotism debate. She was asked about the casting of Suhana Khan, Khushi Kapoor, and Agastya Nanda. Zoya clarified that she owed no one any explanation and would have cast anyone for "The Archies."

According to her, Netflix and Tiger Baby Productions put seven kids on the movie poster, of whom only three were picked by the media. Suhana Khan, Agastya, and Khushi, thus creating talk about nepotism. Zoya registered disappointment in saying that attention was unfairly diverted from the other four kids, highlighting the role the media has to play in neglecting their presence.

Seconding Zoya's perception on the matter, Reema Kagti says even she was upset. She emphasized that the hype for the movie was not only theirs and emphasized the recognition of all seven kids that were included in the cast of the movie.

Especially awaited is "The Archies," as it'll see Suhana Khan, Khushi Kapoor, and Agastya Nanda making their Bollywood debuts, among others. The plot is based in 1960s India, with themes of love, friendship, and saving Riverdale from developers who wish to demolish the town to make way for a resort on the adjacent park.

The film is set to release on December 7 and will feature Agastya Nanda as Archie Andrews, Khushi Kapoor as Betty Cooper, and Suhana Khan as Veronica Lodge. Along with other characters from the well-known comic series Archie Comics, the film can also be seen starring Vedang Raina, Mihir Ahuja, Dot, and Yuvraj Menda.
