A 28-year-old man, who worked as a delivery person for Zomato, was stabbed to death Wednesday night at Karol Bagh in Central Delhi.

The victim, identified as Guru Prasad, had gone to attend his friend’s wedding at the Tank Road in the Karol Bagh area. Following an altercation with his friends, Prasad was stabbed by some of them multiple times before they fled the scene. The locals rushed him to a nearby hospital, however, their efforts were in vain as the 28-year-old was declared dead on arrival.

“A resident of Bapa Nagar, Guru Prasad was taken to a nearby hospital where he was declared brought dead. During the initial investigation, it was found that he had received multiple stab wounds in his neck, thighs, and abdomen. He was also hit in the head with a bottle,” one of the officials said. He added that the investigation of the case had just begun and that further details will be revealed once the miscreants are caught.
