Zee5's Dispatch & Vikatakavi Makes It To IFFI 2024

The 55th International Film Festival of India (IFFI), held in Goa from November 20 to 28, will feature special screenings of two ZEE5 original series: Dispatch and Vikatakavi. This is a unique achievement for both the projects.
The Dispatch series, directed by Kanu Behl and starring Manoj Bajpayee, Shahana Goswami, and Archita Aggarwal, will stream on November 21. Manoj Bajpayee plays Joy, a seasoned crime journalist navigating a complex web of power, morality, and personal challenges. Kanu Behl expressed excitement about presenting his work at IFFI for the first time.
Vikatakavi: The Chronicles of Amargiri, directed by Pradeep Maddali and featuring Naresh Agastya and Megha Akash, will be released on November 23 and screened at IFFI. This detective thriller is set in 1970s Telangana and follows Ramakrishna, a young researcher who uncovers strange happenings in Amargiri where villagers mysteriously lose their memories after entering the Nallamalla forest.
The series explores local culture, traditions, and history. Maddali highlighted the honor of showcasing the series on such a prestigious platform and praised writer Saiteja Deshraj for contributing a compelling story.
