ZEE5 to Premiere Supernatural Horror Comedy Devil’s Double: Next Level on June 13

India’s homegrown OTT giant ZEE5 is set to release Devil’s Double: Next Level (DD Next Level), the fourth installment in the hit Dhilluku Dhuddu franchise, on June 13. The supernatural horror comedy will be available in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada.

Directed by S. Prem Anand, the film stars Santhanam in the lead, alongside Selvaraghavan, Gautham Vasudev Menon, and Geetika Tiwary. Produced by The Show People and Niharika Entertainment, the film blends spooky thrills with hilarious twists.

The story follows Kissa (Santhanam), a sarcastic film reviewer who gets invited to a private screening by eccentric filmmaker Hitchcock Irudhayaraj (Selvaraghavan). Things take a surreal turn when Kissa is pulled into the movie itself. Controlled by a magical diary, the movie world forces him to face supernatural threats, team up with rival reviewers, and navigate jump scares—all while his girlfriend becomes a ghostly danger.

ZEE5’s Lloyd C Xavier said, “Devil’s Double: Next Level is a fresh mix of thrills, humor, and creative storytelling. It strengthens our regional slate and promises a unique viewing experience.”

Director S. Prem Anand shared that the film pushes the boundaries of horror comedy with its meta concept and genre-breaking fun. “This is a wild ride and ZEE5 is the perfect platform to bring it to audiences globally,” he said.

Santhanam called Kissa one of his most exciting roles, saying, “It’s chaotic, fun, and totally unpredictable. This is a film best enjoyed with lights off and friends around.”
