On International Education Day, ZEE5's Tamil original series 'Ayali' - is creating waves in Tamil cinema. The Tamil film industry, media and audience are expressing their love for this web series. ZEE5, India's largest leading OTT streaming platform, is premiering its next Tamil original series 'Ayali' on 26th January 2023.

The series revolves around the life of a young woman named Tamil Selvi, and her struggle against the norms of the society around her and its beliefs. The ZEE5 platform organized various screenings of the series for viewers across Tamil Nadu on the occasion of National Girl Child Day and International Education Day.

This upcoming series has received huge appreciation from the film fraternity and audiences alike. Many celebrities including Dulquer Salmaan, Vijay Sethupathi, directors Venkat Prabhu, Mitran R Jawahar, and Prashanth are talking about this series and praising it on Twitter. Ayali is produced by S. Kushmavathy's Estrella Stories and directed by Muthukumar.

The 8-episode series stars Abhi Nakshatra, Anumol, Aruvi Madan, Linga and Singampuli in lead roles. Ayali is a social awareness story about a young girl who dreams of becoming a doctor. The story revolves around the customs of the Veerappannai village and the practice of marrying off girls as soon as they reach puberty. It is believed by the villagers that if this practice is not followed, Ayali Devi will get angry and curse the villagers.

Breaking ancient beliefs and customs, a young woman fights against all odds to achieve her goal of becoming a doctor. Lakshmi Priya, Smruti Venkat and Bhagvathi Perumal are in cameo appearances. With a stellar star cast, social message and an entertaining storyline, Aayali is slated to premiere on ZEE5 on January 26 in Tamil and Telugu.
