First epic fictional period drama of Indian OTT space, 'Paurashpur' is set to release today on ZEE5 and ALTBalaji. The show features majestic set pieces, amazing cast and heavy VFX which make it hard to comprehend that the show was filmed in a very small schedule of 22 days. Director Shachindra Vats, along with the cast and crew, worked tirelessly to get this impossible task done.

The trailer of show showcases interesting characters, eye catching cinematography and overall stellar aura of the 'Paurashpur'. Makers were well prepared with the pre-production. Everything including story, casting, characters was already worked out to detail by creative director Baljit Chadda.

Director Shachindra Vats explains, “Shooting Paurashpur was certainly a big challenge, especially because we shot the entire show during the lockdown. So, considering the restrictions and safety protocols, the team still managed to shoot the entire show in 22 days.”

The official description of the show reads, "In a kingdom dominated by men, it is the ultimate battle of the sexes to win the war being waged against gender equality. Every character is grey and they must fight for what they believe is right in order to survive in Paurashpur."
