Prasad Nimmakayala, who has been the Creative Head of ZEE5 Telugu, is all set to assume a new role at ZEE Studios. The dependable and creative personality has now been promoted as the Telugu wing's head of ZEE Studios, which has been into producing feature films for years.

For the uninitiated, Prasad Nimmakayala has got hands-on experience as someone who has taken up creative roles in the Telugu film industry in the past. As an Executive Producer in Tollywood, he played instrumental roles with respect to popular titles such as 'Ashta Chamma' and 'Uyyala Jampala'.

It's learned that ZEE Studios has give Prasad the new responsibility in recognition of his stellar contribution to ZEE5 in the past few years. Under his aegis, the OTT platform has seen a wave of strong content. From a raw tale like 'Gods of Dharmapuri' to a moving drama like 'Loser' and the political drama 'Chadarangam', from a laugh riot like 'Amrutham Dvitheeyam' to a crime thriller like 'Expiry Date' and 'Shootout At Alair', ZEE5 has brought out some of the best web shows, thanks to Prasad's creative vision.

A source tells us that ZEE Studios is also going to put his vast experience, acquired through his association with the likes of Suresh Productions and Annapurna Studios, to good use.
