A rumour has gone out that 'Bangarraju', starring Akkineni Nagarjuna and Naga Chaitanya in the lead, will have an OTT streaming just two weeks after its theatrical release. The fantasy comedy will hit the screens for Sankranthi.

Zee Studios, which has produced the movie in association with Annapurna Studios, has shut down the fake news. "We request you all not to engage with rumours going around #Bangarraju. As the fans are expecting, it will be a spectacular theatrical release while following the covid norms and regulations set by the government," the makers said.

The movie, directed by Kalyan Krishna Kurasala, has Krithi Shetty and Ramya Krishna in key roles.

Also featuring Rao Ramesh, Brahmaji, Vennela Kishore, Jhansi and Anita Chowdery, the film has music by Anup Rubens. The entertainer has screenplay by Satyanand. J Yuvaraj is the director of photography. Brahma Kadali's art direction may not be distinguishable in the teaser but it will be an important element in the film. The fantasy-filled rom-com is edited by Vijay Vardhan K.
