Recently, 'Veer' beauty Zarine Khan had a tough time at the John F Kennedy International Airport in New York, USA, where she had gone for a show.

As per media sources, Zarine and her sister were detained by Airport authorities while her manager was allowed to pass through immigration section. It is said that the actress was held up owing to her second name. But the questioning session came as a surprise to Zarine as she is a frequent traveller to US. Although she cooperated with the US officials and sincerely answered all their queries, Zarine was annoyed and offended after this check up.

"It wasn`t pleasant, but I am always up for proper security clearance. Hence, I co-operated with the airport officials," quoted Zarine, who also added that since she is attending a show in US, she wanted to be in positive frame of mind and not let this affect her.

Incidentally, earlier the US officials had detained Shah Rukh Khan on two occasions due to 'Khan' surname.
