'Hate Story 3' star Zareen Khan will soon be playing the lead in director Sai Kabir`s upcoming movie 'Divine Lovers'. Sources say that, the role was first offered to Kangana Ranaut but due to date issues, she had to drop the idea.

Director Kabir confirmed the news saying that, "Yes it is true. She fit the bill perfectly as we wanted a girl with Pathani looks. But somehow the dates never matched and the film couldn`t take off."

Zareen will undergo two months of training which will be overseen by Irrfan himself, he is one of the lead in the movie. She was last seen on screen in Vishal Pandya's 'Hate Story 3' that did quite well at the box office.

This film 'Divine Lovers' is an adventure comedy one and the shoot starts in September. It revolves round the lower middle-class section of society and is set in the heartland of India.
