The world-renowned Indian classical musician Pandit Shivkumar Sharma breathed his last on 10 May 2022 from a cardiac arrest. The legendary composer, suffering from kidney failure for the last few months, passed away on Tuesday at the age of 84 and left the music fans in shock.

Many celebrities mourned his death and expressed their condolences to his family. Pandit Shivkumar was cremated with full state honours in the presence of his family members and close friends on Wednesday, May 11. Zakir Hussain, the Indian Tabla virtuoso, is a close friend of the former.
