After the Blockbuster success of Karthik subbaraj directorial Petta earlier this year, Superstar Rajinikanth is acting currently in Darbar, his 167th movie which is directed by AR Murugadoss and produced by Lyca Productions.
The movie is being shot in Mumbai and now the team is shooting the final, long schedule. Now it’s been revealed that there’s a surprise entry into the cast and it happens to be cricketer Yuvraj Singh’s father, actor Yograj Singh. Yograj Singh will be seen in an action sequence with Superstar and this will be the opening fight scene.
Darbar’s villain Sunil Shetty will be starting to shoot his portions in this schedule. The movie also stars lady superstar Nayanthara, Nivetha Thomas, Yogi Babu, Prateik Babbar and has music by Anirudh, and is scheduled to release on Pongal 2020.
