A few days earlier Yuvan Shankar Raja's wife Zafroon Nisar was interacting with her followers on social media when her followers questioned her about forcefully converting the ace composer to Islam. She later posted video in which Yuvan had answered what attracted him to Islam and the peace he found in it.

Zafroon Nisar in her Insta stories has opened up that she Yuvan had converted to Islam a year before she met him and according to her he had asked a common friend Ramjaan Biwi to look for a suitable bride and it was she who brought them together and they are forever thankful to her and think of her as a sister. She asserted that it was an arranged marriage that happened in 2015 while Yuvan had already converted to Islam in 2014.

Zafroon Nisar also added that she married Yuvan because she liked him and more importantly her father, mother and uncle were impressed by his behavior as a human being. As a parting shot she clarified that if a person converts due to marriage or other compulsions it is like slavery and a person should convert only if he or she has faith in the new religion. She further pointed out that those who convert for the sake of money are actually worshipping money and not god.
