Yuvan Shankar Raja is an iconic music composer in Tamil cinema and the youngest son of legendary artist Ilaiyaraaja. He is one of the most celebrated musicians who command a huge fanbase. Fondly called 'Little Maestro' by music lovers, he recently completed 25 years in his cinema career.
Now, the latest update is that Yuvan Shankar Raja will be receiving an honorary doctorate from Sathyabama University tomorrow. The musician will be bestowed with honour in the function to be held at Sathyabama Institute of Science and Technology on 3rd September. Henceforth, Yuvan will be known as Dr. Yuvan.
On the work front, Yuvan is scoring music for Dhanush starrer 'Naane Varuven', Vishal starrer 'Laththi', Santhanam starrer 'Agent Kannayiram', Pradeep Ranganathan starrer 'Love Today', director Ameer's 'Iraivan Miga Periyavan', Amitash and Sarathkumar starrer 'Paramporul' and Nivin Pauly's untitled film with director Ram.
