Yuvan Shankar Raja, the youngest son of the legendary musician Ilayaraja, is one of the most-love music composers of all time in Tamil cinema. The versatile musician has worked in more than 100 films and is well known for his stellar background scores.

Yuvan started his musical career in 1996 with the film 'Aravindhan' at the age of 16 and went to score music for many leading actors in Kollywood. Now, the BGM king has completed 25 years in the film industry and the composer addressed the media yesterday to thank everyone for their support.

Yuvan Shankar Raja revealed his plans to don the director hat soon during the meeting. The little maestro, who became a movie producer in 2017, is now all set to start his new journey as a writer and director. The sensational music director has developed a female-oriented script and he aims to start his debut directorial at the end of 2022 or earlier in 2023.

Yuvan has also shared a press note thanking fans, well-wishers, family members, and film fraternities for helping him have a memorable 25 years in the industry. On the work front, Yuvan's upcoming movies are Vijay Sethupathi's 'Maamanithan', Santhanam's 'Agent Kannayiram', Ameer's 'Iraivan Miga Periyavan' and Ram's untitled film.
