YRF announces its first OTT project based on a horrifying true event

One of the biggest production house of Bollywood, Yash Raj Films is finally adapting itself to the changing world of Hindi entertainment. The production house has officially announced their first OTT project titled 'The Railway Men' and it's going to tackle a really horrifying chapter of the Indian history. The show will be based on Bhopal Gas Tragedy and it will have an iconic cast including Kay Kay Menon, R Madhavan, Babil Khan and Divyendu Sharma.
The first look poster of the show was shared by YRF on their official Instagram account. It featured all four actors with half their faces covered with makeshift masks. Filming for the project reportedly started on 2nd of December and it is supposed to release on 2nd of December 2022. The caption on YRF's announcement post read, "Heroes who saved scores of lives! First Look of #TheRailwayMen - a tribute to the unsung heroes of 1984 Bhopal gas tragedy. @yrfentertainment s 1st OTT project being directed by @shivrawail Streaming - 02 December 2022."
For those who don't know, Bhopal Gas Tragedy is one of the deadliest industrial disasters in the history. It took place on 2nd of December 1984 when methyl isocyanate gas leaked from a pesticide factory owned by the American Union Carbide Corporation. Around 5000 people lost their lives and around half a million were severely affected by it.
