In a bizarre incident, a 25-year-old youngster identified as Sreenjith died following an argument over a fish curry. The incident was reported at Palakkad on Thursday night.

Reportedly, a group of five heavily drunk youth arrived at a hotel and ordered a fish curry. As the food at the hotel was almost sold out during the time, the employees didn't serve them. On getting angry over this, Sreejith entered the kitchen and took the fish curry. Noticing this, one of the hotel staff told him that the curry was kept for the employees, who did not have their dinner.

Soon an argument broke out between Sreejith and the hotel staff. While the hotel owners forced the group to leave the place, Sreejith smashed a glass table with his bare hands and injured himself. As the veins on his hands got severely cut by the glass pieces, he started bleeding profusely. Though he was rushed to a private hospital, he succumbed to injuries during treatment.
