A few months back fans and the public were all disappointed with the increase in the ticket costs for movies. From Rs.120 it soared upwards to Rs.200. Even Vishal the President of the Producers Council assured there will be a reduction in the prices starting July.

But it never happened. Still, the costs are the same. Now, the state has increased the maintenance charges of theatres. Theatres with Air conditioning will have Rs.4 and those without Ac will charge Rs.2 as maintenance fee. This is expected to have an impact on the ticket costs as well.

Already, the number of folks going to theatres is decreasing, and with this decision, things might get worse. What do you think? Share your views.
