There are numerous world wor enthusiasts out there. No, seriously. There are. Since he was a cute little boy, Rishi Sharma’s interest to learn about the world war knew no bounds. In what might appear to be obsessive to normal folks, Rishi has planned to interview all World War 2 combat veterans before they kick the bucket.
The 20 year old from Agoura,California is of Indian origin. It is also worth noting here that Rishi has travelled to almost 45 countries to interview over 870 veterans so that information pertaining to them is not totally lost. Sharma also records the interviews and burns them to DVDs which he later gives to the veterans. They either are elated at it or it helps the decendants to know about the hardships these men went through.
In addition to it, he also founded a non profit organisation Heroes of the Second World War to preserve interviews with veterans along with a GoFundMe account to help him do it. It is worth mewntioning here that he had raised about $181,000 so far through this. Well, keep it up Rishi!
