A youngster roaming around a park in Tirupur with rose, trying to find a love proposal had created sympathy among people. Yesterday, on eve of Valentine's day, youngsters around the world spent the day with their love happily, except for a person in Tirupur who waited with a rose in his hand all day in the silver jubilee park in the city.

Right from morning, the park was filled with lovers, despite the presence of police around. Entered a youngster, with a rose, clad in a rose coloured shirt and with a bag, and as the other lovers in the park had exchanged chocolates and shared love, watched it with sadness in his eyes. He was observed by public as well as policemen, as he came around the park for a long time with the rose.

As few of them asked about him, the person introduced himself as Shanmuga Prakash, aged 28 years and from Naththam, working in a mobile shop. He expressed that his family had been looking for a suitable bride for him since many years, but nothing materialized thus far, and more than 60000 rupees was spent on broker expense itself. With tears in his eyes, he said that he won't leave the park without finding his lover, and propose and make her accept. However till evening, there was no progress, and he left the park with tears.
