After a huge chartbuster like 'Chaar Baj Gaye Lekin Party Abhi Baaki Hai' [F.A.L.T.U.], Bhagnanis were sure that if there had to be a party number in 'Youngistaan', it had to be bigger and party. For that, they decided to shoot the song, titled 'Tanki', all the way in Japan. Obviously, the song is set in the time when Jackky Bhagnani (the film's leading man) is not yet the Prime Minister of the country and is enjoying his night out with friends, including girlfriend (played by Neha Sharma).

However the song turned out to be memorable for the entire cast and crew of the film for reasons more than one. How? Well, it was shot on the streets of Japan in a guerilla fashion, what with no formal equipment setting, lights, sets or locations.

This means no Japanese was really aware whether a shoot was actually happening on their streets. The idea was to be spontaneous than be confined to any location or time which otherwise is the case when conditions are imposed owing to a formal shoot. As a result, Jackky, Neha and rest of the cast members just painted the town red as they went about canning 'Tanki'.

Though one has seen Bangkok and Kuala Lampur as the preferred shooting destinations in Far East, rarely does one see a Bollywood film being shot in Japan. However, with Vashu Bhagnani’s penchant for exploring unknown destinations, Japan turned out to be the chosen country for a good part of the film’s shoot.
