In a shocking incident, writer-turned-director Rajasimha Tadinada of 'Okka Ammayi Tappa' fame has tried to kill himself in Mumbai. Fortunately, the attempt was a failure. Only on Tuesday, he had reached the city apparently to holiday there. His Facebook post on the day reads, "Friends, reached Mumbai - it was a loooooooong drive from Hyderabad - roads from Sholapur are not good - but not totally."
It's reported that the youngster has been in a state of depression for more than a year. It was in 2016 that he debuted as a director with the aforementioned Sundeep Kishan movie. It also starred Nithya Menen and was a fairly decent script. But the movie bombed at the box office.
What is the cause of his depression? "It was related to his career. Perhaps he was devastated after the failure of the film," says a source. Rajasimha, who has worked with some well-known names in the Telugu film industry, consumed an abnormal amount of sleeping pills with the intent to kill himself.
IndiaGlitz wishes Rajasimha quick recovery.
