Young Tollywood actor Viswanth booked in a cheating case

Viswanth Duddumpudi, the greenhorn actor who debuted in 2015 with the rom-com ‘Kerintha’, is in the news for the wrong reason. On Tuesday, the budding actor received a setback when he was booked in a cheating case by the Banjara Hills police.

As per complainants, the youngster had duped some unnamed individuals by making a claim that he will make luxury cars available to them at a reasonable price. Those who transferred monies to him allegedly never heard back. A few of them got suspicious and approached the police with a formal complaint.

After filing a case, the police have launched a probe. So far, Viswanth has not opened up on the issue.

Prior to becoming an actor, the lad had completed studies in the US. He came back to India to try his luck in films. When 'Kerintha' brought him some name, Chandrasekhar Yeleti enlisted him for a sensible role in his 2016 movie ‘Manamantha’. Last year, he was seen in the BO flop ‘O Pitta Katha' in a lead role. The 27-year-old actor was seen also in 'Tholu Bommalata' and in a short roe in 'Jersey'. 'Kadal' and 'Boyfriend For Hire' are two of his upcoming movies.
