Ever since the Odarpu Yatra, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has cultivated the practice of endearing himself to his supporters by personally touching them in an affectionate manner. This mechanism has humanized Jagan in the eyes of the people. We have seen any number of memes, parodies and jokes revolving around Jagan's this unconventional approach.
Even so, when a college-going girl recently planted an affectionate kiss on the YSRCP chief during the ongoing Sankalpa Yatra, it went viral because of the way the incident unfolded. The young girl in question, hailing from Konaseema region, approached the Chief Ministerial aspirant for a selfie. Even before he could oblige her request, she came forward and kissed Jagan on his cheeks. Mildly surprised as it came unannounced, Jagan didn't know how to react for a second or two. He then placed his arm on her head as if to bless the girl.
The unique moment has been captured in videos and pics and the same has become oh-so-popular on social media.
