“I’ll do a film with Thalapathy Vijay in future if there is a chance,” says this talented young director

Pradeep Ranganathan is a talented young director who made impressive short films and debuted with a bumper hit film ‘Comali’ starring Jayam Ravi. Now, Pradeep has turned into a lead actor in his second directorial venture ‘Love Today’, which is based on his short film ‘App(a) Lock’.

Love Today is all set to hit the cinemas on November 4. The hot buzz is that Pradeep Ranganathan is likely to direct Thalapathy Vijay in a movie in the future. In a recent interview for the promotion of Love Today, Pradeep reportedly stated, “I don’t know if I can say this… I narrated a story to Vijay sir after the release of Comali. He liked the script. I’ll do a film with him in future if there is a chance.”

It is worth mentioning that Love Today is the title of Thalapathy Vijay’s superhit 1997 movie. Pradeep thanked Vijay and producer RB Choudhary for the title earlier. This movie, produced by AGS Entertainment, also stars Ivana, Yogi Babu, Sathyaraj, Radhika Sarathkumar and SR Raveena. Yuvan Shankar Raja is composing the musical score for the film.

On the other hand, Thalapathy Vijay is currently shooting for the final song sequence of ‘Varisu’, which is slated for a Pongal 2023 release. This film’s first single will be released on Diwali. He will team up with ‘Master’ director Lokesh Kanagaraj for the much-awaited ‘Thalapathy 67’ project after this bilingual movie.
