Young cricketer Varun Chakravarthy received a massive recognition for his strong, impressive performances in the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL), as he secured a place in India's squad for the T20 internationals of their upcoming tour of Australia.

The leg-spinner has played a key role in the journey of his IPL franchise Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in the season scalping 12 wickets at an average of 23.50 and an economy of 7.05, which also includes an impressive five wicket haul in the team's recent victory over Delhi Capitals.

Now, it has been found by Netizens that Varun Chakravarthy has acted in the 2014 Tamil movie Jeeva. Directed by Suseenthiran, the movie revolved around a passionate cricketer and his struggles and had Vishnu Vishal, a cricketer himself as the lead. Varun Chakravarthy has played one of the players in his club team, and now post his selection in the Indian squad have shared screenshots of Varun from Jeeva, which have turned viral.
