Young handsome newcomer actor Dev Mohan who made his Mollywood debut with Naranipuzha Shanavas' directorial ‘Sufiyum Sujatayum’ became a sensation in Kerala. Dev, a model and Mr. India finalist, is a mechanical engineer based in Bengaluru. His charming appearance and stunning performance in the role of Sufi won the hearts of many, especially female fans. 

Breaking their hearts, the actor had earlier revealed his fiance's name on social media. Along with an adorable note, Dev shared a lovely picture with his fiance. ‘Sufiyum Sujatayum’, a musical love story, was the first Malayalam movie that premiered on a digital platform. In the movie DEv was paired opposite Aditi Rao Hydari. Dev will be making his Telugu debut with the ambitious period drama Shakuntalam, that has Samantha in the female lead. Directed by Gunasekhar, who made popular Telugu films like ‘Okkadu’ and ‘Rudhramadevi’, 'Shakuntalam' is the screen adaptation of Kalidasa’s epic Sanskrit play, Abhijnana Shakuntalam. The upcoming mythological film will have Samantha appearing as Shakuntala, the daughter of sage Vishwa Mitra while Dev Mohan will be seen playing the role of King Dushyanta.
