You’d think it is uncommon for someone who is a doctor to be falsely lead to be swindled off a huge amount of money. But yes, it did happen in November 2013 when a cardiologist in New York City was billed a staggering $135,000 for a 3 day spree with four strippers.
Zyad Younan then sued the four strippers and the club named Scores (where he was charged the bill)in 2014 for being drugged and cheated by the strippers. The club had already filed a lawsuit on him to which he refuted the charges as fraudulent stating that he neither had memory of being in the club nor authorise the charges on the room, booze and tips.
After investigation into the matter and finding veracity to the doctor's statements, a Manhattan court has booked charges including grand larceny, assault and forgery on the four strippers and the club manager. In addition to this, the court on Tuesday has ordered that Younan needn’t foot the bill of $135,000.
