"You have seen my ideals so far. You will see me play politics from now onwards," Pawan Kalyan has said on Sunday, days after receiving a humiliating drubbing at the hustings. The actor-turned-politician also said that one defeat can't halt him and his party.
The Jana Sena chief's statement comes a day after alleging that his rivals had spent Rs 150 Cr so that he doesn't enter the Assembly. Pawan's comment has only triggered a spate of reactions, with some saying that no matter how much your rivals spend to defeat a Chief Minister candidate, he shouldn't lose from not one but two seats.
Predictably, Ram Gopal Varma too waded into the controversy and said, "PK saying he lost because Rs 150 Cr was given to voters is a real insult to voters because he is saying people who he wants to serve are corrupt. If voters wanted him, they could take money from others and still voted him (sic)."
