'Sachin: A Billion Dreams' is not just a life story of Sachin, but a story closely etched in the heart of India. The movie captures the cricket and personal life of the legendary cricketer in detail, revealing aspects of his life which have never been heard of.

People are unaware of the relationship Sachin shares with his parents, or his wife Anjali, or his brothers, Ajit and Nitin, or with his sister, Savita, or his children, Arjun and Sara. Immense research has gone into the making of the movie. Over 10,000 hours of archived footage was watched as a part of the research to make the film.

But the bigger news is here. Sachin has said, 'The audience will get to see my romance with Anjali (wife), how I met her and how we took it forward". Sachin admittedly talked to his whole family before he came out with the product - all to ensure that fans get "something to take back".

Music is by AR Rahman. Produced by Ravi Bhagchandka of 200 Not Out and Shrikant Bhasi of Carnival Motion Pictures, the film will be released in Hindi, English, Marathi, Tamil and Telugu on May 26. It's directed by Emmy-nominated James Erskine.
